Marketing Specialist required to join our client’s growing marketing team at a really exciting time. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and will be responsible for developing marketing initiatives and content, to drive brand awareness.

The role is offered as a part-time (0.5 FTE), and the salary £23-£30k (@ 1 FTE) dependent on experience based at our clients’ head-office in Chorley with hybrid working. They support flexibility and working hours will be discussed at interview. Benefits include 25 days holiday (@1FTE) plus bank holidays plus 1 day for Birthday Holiday! Hybrid working and as well as a competitive salary - 10% employer pension contribution and a great range of other benefits!

Initially this role will concentrate on strengthening our client’s brand through social media, digital communications, branch campaigns, and PR. However, the role has potential to develop into other areas of marketing including market segmentation analysis, competitor analysis, digital paid ads and creative design.

Marketing Specialist - Requirements and Skills

·Experience in marketing (financial services experience desirable but not essential)

·Excellent written English and communication skills (copywriting experience desirable but not essential)

·Great attention to detail and strong organisation and planning skills

·A creative mindset

·Experience of email marketing software tools

·Familiarity with email deliverability and compliance regulations

·Experience of social media scheduling tools

·Marketing, Business or PR degree is preferred, but we’d love to hear from you if you believe you’d be a good fit and have great experience to offer.

Marketing Specialist - Key Responsibilities

·Develop compelling and engaging email content to drive brand awareness of our client’s products.

·Conceive and develop marketing material to promote products and community initiatives.

·Develop a social media calendar of proactive posts to raise brand awareness and create reactive posts as required.

·Research and develop articles for our Knowledge Hub

·Seek PR opportunities and develop relationships with local media and trade publications

·Assess effectiveness of the marketing activity performed and report back on the successes and areas for improvement
