Are you seeking a new permanent role as a Senior Female Support Worker supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs in Chorley area?

Our client a reputable family run care provider in the area is looking for support workers to join their friendly team. The position is full time - 35 - 40 hours a week, with alternative weekends off. Salary ranges between 28371 - 30201

You will be working for an excellent provider in Supported living and residential service, specialising in supporting people with high and complex needs, working with people with to achieve their Life ambitions and potential.

As a senior support worker you will be working directly with the team of support workers to manage and ensure they are supported with their duties and the needs of service users are being met. You will be working closely with the management team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the service by supporting and completing rotas supervisions and overseeing medication.

The successful candidate will hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields ideally from a Supported living service or Residential care. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and would ideally have NVQ Level 2 or 3 or willing to working towards a NVQ Level 3.

You will have experience dealing with complex situations and can use your own initiative. You will be able to demonstrate good organisations skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and the Deputy Manager ensuring the effective and smooth running of the Service.
