Welder Fabricator
Our client is a family run business who have been manufacturing professional gym equipment since 1986, which is used by many of Britain's top bodybuilders for optimal performance and heavy-duty use. All the equipment is manufactured from start to finish under one roof. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join this business in Chorley.
Key Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years experience of welding fabricating in an engineering environment
- Experienced in welding both carbon steel & stainless steel
- Experienced in fabricating box section with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience with fabrication machinery e.g. power saw, pillar drills, lathe
- Must be capable of interpreting both 2D and 3D CAD drawings to fabricate
- Full UK Driving license is required
Beneficial requirements:
- Knowledge/experience in CNC manufacture e.g. water jet cutting, laser cutting, CNC lathes
- A basic understanding of using CAD design software
- Previous powder coating experience
- Forklift truck operator trained
- Coded welder would be advantageous
The successful Welder Fabricator will be rewarded with an excellent hourly rate and benefits such as: retention bonus year 1: £1000. Year 2: £2000. Year 3: £3000 To be paid on completion of each year and 25 days per annum + bank holidays.
Working hours are as follows:
Standard Week: 37 hours
Mon - Thurs 07:30 16:00 - 12:00 12:30 Fri 07:30 12:30
