Debt Advisor

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading, well known brand based in Christchurch. Our client is seeking to recruit a Debt Advisor on a Fixed Term Contract basis Key responsibilities:

• Deliver Debt Advice and Money Guidance to customers, understanding their financial position and identifying ways in which this can be improved, ireferring to other advisers/agencies where needed
• Assist residents to prepare financial statements
• Prepare and present cases to the necessary statutory bodies and negotiate with third parties as appropriate
• Provide advice and signposting towards, training or employment, linking up with internal and external specialists to assist
• Maintain accurate records of cases, in line with policy, procedure and legislation

• Recent or current experience working in a similar role, providing advice, information and guidance to customers is essential
• The ability to build rapport with great people, communication, and engagement skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
• A MaPs Accredited Debt Advice Qualification to Specialist/Caseworker Level is desirable, but not essential

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £34,500 depending on experience.

Location- Christchurch Duration- 10 months Pay- £32,000- 34,500 p/a Hybrid- 2 days in office, 3 at home
