Daily Pay Rate: 95 - 120
Hours of work: Full-Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support and guidance to a student, ensuring their unique learning needs are met.
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement strategies and interventions that promote the student's academic and personal development.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student feels valued, motivated, and supported.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities and resources, designed to engage and inspire the student.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the student's education and well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a 1:1 capacity.
- Strong understanding of educational strategies and interventions to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, staff, and parents/carers.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities presented in a 1:1 setting.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children.
