Our client, a leading, Legal 500 recommended legal firm based in Christchurch, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute their expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial law matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support client cases
- Attending court hearings and representing clients in commercial litigation matters
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective case management
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and industry trends
- Upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance with professional responsibilities
- Demonstrating exceptional client service and building strong, long-lasting relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualifications
- Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales or a CILEX Lawyer
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
