We’re a specialist recruitment agency working on behalf of a leading cargo operation in the Bournemouth area. We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth and safe running of their warehouse facility.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
The Role:
As Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with the day-to-day management of cargo handling operations. You’ll lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing freight in line with safety, quality, and procedural standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Support daily warehouse operations and help meet business targets

Lead and manage a team of operatives, assigning workloads and monitoring performance

Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all activities

Carry out dispatch checks and documentation review for all loaded vehicles

Supervise loading/unloading and ensure correct filing of all warehouse paperwork

Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant at all times

Operate forklift trucks if certified (training available if required)
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Confident using basic computer systems
