We’re a specialist recruitment agency working on behalf of a leading cargo operation in the Bournemouth area. We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth and safe running of their warehouse facility.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role:

As Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with the day-to-day management of cargo handling operations. You’ll lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing freight in line with safety, quality, and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily warehouse operations and help meet business targets

  • Lead and manage a team of operatives, assigning workloads and monitoring performance

  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all activities

  • Carry out dispatch checks and documentation review for all loaded vehicles

  • Supervise loading/unloading and ensure correct filing of all warehouse paperwork

  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant at all times

  • Operate forklift trucks if certified (training available if required)

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Confident using basic computer systems
