A new Transactional Accounts Manager is being recruited by client based at the Bournemouth Airport. The company has undergone lots of change and are looking to put the final piece of the jigsaw in place in order that they can move forward with their planned growth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Transactional Accounts Manager you will have responsibility for:

  • Assist with the review of current processes and procedures and update these to build a well controlled finance environment
  • Ensure all purchase invoices have been posted before month end close and all expenditures are authorised correctly
  • Review and maintain Aged Creditors in line with cashflow
  • Ensure all sales invoices have been raised in the month and aged debt has been chased
  • Undertake monthly bank reconciliations to meet financial reporting deadlines
  • Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any outstanding transactions
  • Manage the expenses and ensure that these have been raised and authorised in line with company procedures and policy.
  • Assist the FC to implement changes in accounting policies and procedures
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve billings, collections and payment processes
  • Provide cover for other team members as required
  • Some occasional travel may be required


Suitable Candidate

  • Experience or AAT 3 and a min of 2-5 years experience in transactional accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail, discipline and bookkeeping
  • Self motivated, team orientated and friendly
  • Experience of Xero would be an advantage
