Design Engineer Salary: 35,000 - 42,000 DOE

Orion are currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Design Engineer.  

They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their small, friendly team and work hands-on in the fast-paced environment.  

 Design Engineer Duties:

• Create Engineering drawings to aid the production team in welding and fabricating material handling equipment.
• CAD 2D & 3D drawings of our material handling equipment
• Creating 2D & 3D models, engineering drawings, parts lists and layouts
• Apply 2D & 3D CAD Modelling techniques to complex designs and assignment
• Provide design solutions
• Compile technical documentation such as user manuals, spec sheets and instructions.

Design Engineer required Experience:

• 5+ years' experience 2D & 3D CAD experience '' AutoCAD & in steel manufacturing
• Minimum of 5x GCSE's
• HNC/HND
• Degree qualification in an engineering/design-related
• Highly motivated team player

Design Engineer Package:

• Competitive Salary of 35,000 - 42,000
• 23 day holiday allowance
• Pension contribution
• Onsite parking

Design Engineer Shifts:

Monday '' Friday: 8:00 '' 17:00
