Our client is a reputable manufacturer and they require a well versed despatch operative, despatch operatives assemble orders ready to be shipped out to customers. The post holder will have to work flexibly, as it may be necessary to assist, or cover for, other staff from time to time.

Key Tasks

• Wrap and pack individual products
• Pack boxes to quantities specified on sales orders
• Weigh boxes and note details for shipping etc.
• Aid others with handling goods
• Adhere to all works procedures and quality controls
• Complete proper paperwork as required
• Complete other administrative and production duties as appropriate
• Establish and keep effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, suppliers and customers.
• Coordinating activities within dispatch to ensure that deliveries are completed on time and problems are escalated immediately within the business.

This a permanent role for the successful despatch operative, you will join an existing team and will be trained in all internal procedures, with 33 days holiday a year, a fixed days shift....

7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday

7.30am to 3pm Friday
