Job Requirements of this SEN Teaching Assistant job in Stourbridge

Provide one-to-one support to learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, and challenging behaviour.
Assist students in adjusting to new settings, recognise signs of distress, offer reassurance, and promote inclusion.
Encourage student interaction and participation in teacher-led activities.
Supervise and support students to ensure safety, access to learning, and overall development.
Establish supportive relationships with students, acting as a role model and addressing individual needs.
Work with students aged 5 to P16 in a temp-to-perm capacity for suitable candidates.
Require a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or Health and Social Care qualification.
Prior experience in SEN support essential, within a school setting preferred but not essential.
