Role Purpose
The Internal Communications and Engagement Manager working for our client is responsible for creating and executing strategies to enhance internal communication, boost employee engagement, and foster a positive workplace culture. This role requires a strategic and proactive approach to collaboration and communication across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of communication, marketing, and engagement strategies to support our client's mission, growth, and sector influence.
- Communications Management: Oversee all internal and external communications, including PR, media relations, and customer insights, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Implement systematic approaches to stakeholder engagement and deliver national events that highlight our work.
- Content Creation: Produce compelling content for various internal channels, maintaining consistent messaging and branding.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction, including organizing events and recognition programs.
- Intranet Management: Manage the intranet platform to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, providing training and support to employees.
- Feedback Analysis: Administer engagement surveys, analyse results, and develop action plans to improve workplace culture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint) and employee engagement survey tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Salary: 60,000 - 65,000 per annum
Work Environment
- Office-based: 3 days per week, with visits to service centers to ensure alignment with key principles and messages.
