Design Technician (Furniture)

Temporary Design Technician potentially with a view to becoming permanent. Hours of work 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday - once fully trained - 2 days per week can be worked remotely, this is arranged on a rota within the team. Candidates must be able to interpret / reference house type layout drawing and be proficient in scaling off drawings.

CAD or similar drawing package experienced essential.

Joinery/ design background preferred.

The salary will dependant upon experience -£23540 = £12.07 per hour  to £36380 = £18.65 per hour.

Based on the Bardon Estate, Nr Coalville.

Purpose of the role - To produce material cutting lists for house types, requiring fitted wardrobes and to assist with the new product design layouts of both marketing suite furniture and bedroom furniture as required.

Responsibilities:- Provide Technical support to sales and installations teams to ensure bedroom furniture installations are in line with the requirements.

Produce technical cutting lists and associated paperwork in line with time scales and identify standard and bespoke products and processes as required for the installation.

Provide professional and efficient service for installation of products to the departments internal teams.
