Senior Residential Children’s Support Workers (EBD)

Job type: Full time

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern)

We are looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker for one of our clients Residential Children’s Home.

Our client is a provider of residential children services for children and young people with EBD and behaviours that challenge, offering a homely work environment and a supportive management team with ongoing training.

As a senior residential childcare worker, you will play a full and effective role as a member of the staff team, providing high-quality assessment and residential care for young people with EBD and behaviours that challenge.

Our client is looking for a dedicated organised senior childcare worker who can lead a shift and take the initiative to work well independently as well as working well with other members of the staff team.

Requirements for this Senior Residential Childcare Worker position are:

  • must be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s home regulations.
  • Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Experience of working in a senior position
  • 2 years’ experience of working within a residential childcare environment
  • Experience of working with young people with EBD and behaviours that challenge
  • Able to work on a shift pattern which includes sleep-ins
  • must be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s home regulations.
