Underwriter

Anderson Knight is collaborating with a leading organisation in the financial services industry to recruit a Credit Decisions Analyst. The ideal candidate will evaluate each application, gather data to understand potential customers' financial situations, and determine their affordability.

Shifts are scheduled on a rotational basis to provide service coverage during working hours, requiring flexibility.

Working Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 08:00-20:00
• Weekends: 09:00-18:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with GDPR data protection regulations.
• Review and analyse credit reference data to make informed credit decisions.
• Process referrals through necessary checks, including credit behavior and affordability assessments.
• Document assessments with detailed notes and record any conditions of approval.
• Stay alert to suspicious activities and report them as needed.
• Work efficiently to ensure that credit decisions meet agreed-upon service level standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
