MDH Recruitment are working with our client, an industry leader within their field, who are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to be based at their site in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.


Hours of work - 37 hours per week


0745-1615 Mon-Thu

0745-1245 Fri


Duties


  • To work safely on all types of equipment – Electrical, mechanical, hydraulics & pneumatics ensuring plant, production equipment, site services and facilities are all maintained to the highest level in order to minimise downtime.
  • Your role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.
  • Respond promptly to plant downtime to maximise throughput.
  • Repair and replace damaged equipment.
  • Record work completed using CMMS
  • Interrogate, fault find, and resolve equipment problems.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Participate in projects as required.
  • Your role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.


Qualifications


  • Electrical or mechanical bias
  • Served experience on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plc-controlled manufacturing equipment
  • Controls and PLC experienced (desirable not essential)
