Anderson Knight are pleased to be recruiting for a Team Leader who will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of analysts, driving efforts to maximise sales recoveries, and supporting and implementing strategies to safeguard assets. The role also involves providing support to the Recoveries Manager through performance analysis of direct reports and supplier activity.

Key Responsibilities

Operational

  • Lead the Asset Management team, ensuring motivation and adherence to company values.
  • Manage day-to-day team activities, including task allocation, workflow management, and resource deployment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for operational queries, compiling and reporting relevant data.
  • Conduct due diligence assessments on suppliers and direct reports regularly.
  • Reconcile supplier reporting and invoicing for accuracy.
  • Maintain and develop supplier relationships, addressing issues proactively and tracking performance metrics.

Resourcing

  • Support the Team Manager in ensuring adequate team resourcing to meet service levels.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including CV review, interviewing, and decision-making.
  • Enhance the employee experience through effective onboarding, probationary, and ongoing development processes.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on resourcing, attendance, conduct, and employee development processes.

Team Leading

  • Set clear and challenging goals for team members, providing regular feedback and annual performance assessments.
  • Provide training and regular oversight to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to foster engagement and development.

Shifts are on a rotational basis - operating hours are:

08:00am-20:00pm Mon-Fri

09:00am-18:00pm Sat & Sunday

The successful applicant doesn't need team leader or telephony experience, they must have motor finance or motor trade industry knowledge.
