Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Elevate are recruiting to appoint an experienced Tenancy sustainment officer on behalf of one of our clients. Key duties require providing a tenancy sustainment service to meet the needs of individuals and families living in the properties. Offering advice and support with an outcome to prevent evictions and enabling sustained tenancies. This great opportunity offers hybrid working on a temporary contract.

Other duties are:

- Managing complex cases and outcomes.

- Organizing follow up appointments

- Efficient safeguarding referrals

- Liaising with colleagues and externals agencies

- Visiting tenants in their homes.

Necessary Experience:

- Experienced in working to deadlines

- In depth knowledge of social housing management

- Multi agency working

- Ability to adapt professional practice responding appropriately to vulnerable, distressed, or angry resident’s

- Identifying safeguarding cases

- Experienced in customer service, dealing with people direct and via phone.

- Knowledge of relevant legislations, impacts within the housing sector and homelessness
