  • Serving as an escalation point for first-line support staff including our IT Apprentice, assisting in the delivery of both first and second-line support to users and third line support to IT Network Manager.

We have a super opportunity for an IT Technician, set in lovely ground in the heart of Surrey.

This role requires someone who has come from a similar position, with extensive knowledge of IT operations and are able to oversee maintenance IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will respond to IT support requests in accordance with the helpdesk procedures and priorities. You will deliver a high quality service to all users working with the IT Manager to implement new projects and developments.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also be a good problem solver and able to use initiative.

  • Providing comprehensive support to all users, adhering to helpdesk procedures and priorities to ensure optimal service levels and satisfactory issue resolution.
  • Ensuring seamless communication with users throughout the issue resolution process. Managing and supporting all user technology, encompassing desktops, software, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Proactively evaluating the entirety of IT Services' technology infrastructure and presenting findings to the IT Network Manager.
  • Undertaking a diverse array of technical responsibilities, primarily focused on maintaining and upgrading IT systems.
  • Monitoring the performance of IT and audio-visual hardware, software, and cabling to address specific or recurring issues, and providing comprehensive reports to the IT Network Manager.
  • Assist with maintaining an accurate and comprehensive asset register for all IT Services’ assets and conducting audits in alignment with policies and procedures.
