Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting are client seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Sales Executive, to join their team at a leading food company who pride themselves on suppling the finest quality ingredients to the Hospitality sector, namely the restaurant and hotel industry.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about the food and hospitality industry, with a knack for engaging clients and generating new business.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Reach out to potential clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing recommendations, and resolving issues promptly.

Upselling and Cross-selling:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Communicate the value proposition of our premium offerings to clients.
  • Suggest relevant add-ons and upgrades based on client preferences and event dynamics.

B2B Sales:

  • Promote catering services to B2B companies for various events
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers within corporate organizations.
  • Participate in promotional activities, industry events, and trade shows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with a history of achieving sales targets.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for food and culinary trends.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales strategies
