We are seeking two experienced Credit Controllers to join our client’s team.

Our client is a highly successful business with offices in East Anglia and London, who has seen tremendous growth over the past two years and are maintaining this positive trajectory.

Located in modern offices, close to all public transport and with parking, the role of Credit Controller involves managing day-to-day credit control activities, monitoring customer debt, and ensuring effective communication with internal colleagues and customers to resolve queries.

Reporting to and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will provide support not just locally but across the business. 

  • Tasks will include, but not be limited to:Manage your own ledger,  following up on outstanding debtors with the objective to bring up to date.
  • Taking and allocating payments.
  • Produce an accurate analysis of payments due.
  • Adapting to changes in the ledger as the company grows, implementing efficient measures and appropriate changes when required.
  • Negotiating payment plans for clients and setting up Direct Debits
  • Managing debt reviews in a professional manner, as a key representative of the finance team and company.

To be successful in this newly created role you will demonstrate sound experience in a credit control capacity, with experience a consultancy or legal firm an advantage but this is not essential.

You will hold yourself in a confident but approachable manner, professional at all times,  be flexible and adaptable to change, work well in a team to cover and support colleagues when required, able to negotiate in the company’s best interest whilst maintaining strong client relationships and have a good head for numbers.
