Salary: Up to £40,000PA

Our client, a highly successful independent property company is seeking an experienced Accounts Coordinator to join their thriving team. Our client manages properties across the UK that are mixed and diverse, ranging from blocks of two units through to large developments and estates. They are a one-stop shop covering all aspects of block and estate management.

Duties to include:

  • Assisting the accountant and liaising with external accountants
  • Producing budgets
  • Weekly cashflow
  • Reconciliation of all transactions
  • Monthly manual journals for PAYE
  • All bank payments (supplier, employee, rent payments etc)
  • Aged Payable reports and reconciliation with credit account suppliers
  • Adding supplier & expense bills to xero or quick books
  • Chasing payment of invoices
  • Financial reporting (P&L, Management accounts etc)
  • Liaising with customers and staff about any relevant accounting processes as required
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Processing small petty cash transactions
  • Managing Bank Receipts
  • Issuing monthly rent & service charge invoices
  • Chasing rental income and paying rent to our head landlord
  • Tenant utility bill calculations monthly meter readings and calculating tenant usage before issuing invoices to tenants
  • Regular communication with clients
  • Preparation/completion of payments on behalf of clients
  • Month end reviews
  • HMRC and other general correspondence
  • Invoice posting to the purchase ledger.
  • Matching invoices from suppliers with purchase orders.
  • Credit control process.
  • Communicating with Customers through emails and phone calls.
  • Responsible for maintaining purchase daybook
  • Preparing invoices for payment

The ideal candidate will have the below:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Organised and being a team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Outlook, Excel, Word, Qube, Propman, Dwellent or QuickBooks
  • Key eye for attention to detail.
  • Strong listening and decision-making skills.
  • Flexible and able to get on with issues as and when they arise.
  • Pro-active problem solver
  • A passion for accounting and finance
