Finance Manager

Your new companyOur client is a privately owned, cutting edge, research, design, manufacturing and retail business which sells its products internationally in the B2B and B2C markets.They have offices near Colchester, Essex and operate on a hybrid working basis. Due to investment and exciting growth plans, they are working with Hays to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join the business as Finance Manager, to report to the Directors and take ownership of finance and provide quality management information and analysis to provide decision support and influence strategic plans. Your new roleReporting to the Director, the Finance Manager will manage a Finance Administrator and take ownership of finance, IT (Sage & Excel) and company secretarial matters.They will be responsible for the day to day accounting and reporting for the business.Manage working capital and cashflow forecastingProduce, develop and present monthly management reporting/board pack (Sage, Excel, PowerPoint) Profit and Loss and Balance SheetBudgeting and forecastingPayroll ReviewVAT ReturnsManaging payment runsAccounts Payable, Receivable and Credit ControlManage year-endLiaise with the AuditorsIT - maintenance and development Sage and ExcelWhat you'll need to succeedThe Finance Manager will be a Qualified Accountant, "Hands on" who enjoys working in a collaborative, team environment where you can be creative, develop processes, systems, reporting and influence.
