Company & Project: An established National Main Contractor operating across the East of England are expanding their leadership team with an experienced construction professional manage their operational delivery team.

The opportunity presents rarely seen opening in the market to join a business at a strategic level and lead an established team of Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineers.

The new opportunity is due to growth of the business and recent strategic framework wins.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a team overseeing multiple new build and refurbishment projects.

You will working closely with both the pre-construction team and manage the site delivery teams throughout the project to oversee management of teams delivering the project to completion.

The successful candidate will have an active leadership role in the business, focusing on implementing modern techniques of construction, the highest standards of Health and Safety, quality management, developing and building on client relationships, management and recruitment of team members.

You will be need to be an excellent communicator, with a track record of successfully leading a team and a background of delivering projects on time, to a high quality and promoting excellent standards of Health and Safety.

Desirable Experience:

• Previously held an Operations Manager or Contracts Manager or Operations Director or Construction Manager or Project Director role with a Top 100 Main Contractor.
• Previous experience in managing a team, implementing business strategy and upholding the highest of standards in project delivery, H&S, quality and profit.
• Exceptional client facing skills.
• Ideally from a Project Management, Site Management or Engineering background.
• Previous Roles: Operations Manager OR Contracts Manager OR Operations Director OR Construction Manager OR Senior Contracts Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or comparable qualification.

MCIOB desirable.
