Workforce Administrator (Payroll and Pension administration)

Salary: £25,147 - £27,596 per annum

Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a dedicated Workforce Administrator to support the creation and provision of accurate workforce data, particularly in the administration of pensions and benefits, payrolls, and employee systems record keeping. If you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in delivering excellent customer care, and enjoy working as part of a team, this role is for you.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Accurately record administration data to ensure precision in reporting and provision of pensions and benefits
  • Maintain records and undertake update activities related to pensions and benefits, without providing advice on these topics
  • Communicate effectively with employees and external providers, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, or via Microsoft Teams
  • Conduct thorough research and deep dives into records to verify that all activities are correct and requests are actively applied
  • Utilise electronic employee record systems and Excel spreadsheets proficiently to perform your duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent customer care skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Great communication style for dealing with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using electronic employee record systems and Excel
  • Experience in administrative processes connected to pension schemes is desirable
