Position:Â Permanent Teacher for GCSE Maths and Business
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Business GCSE at KS4, raising student achievement and attainment through quality lessons.
- Develop the department and resources, ensuring effective planning and marking.
- Teach lessons for KS3 and KS4 Mathematics, supporting the faculty leader.
- Support academic teaching, support, and pastoral functions across the school.
- Contribute to whole school development priorities and supervision duties.
Key Duties:
- Develop schemes of work and resources for KS4 Business.
- Participate in the school's co-curricular and extra-curricular programme.
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and Business.
- Support subject leaders with engaging and enriching lesson plans.
- Report on assessments to determine students' progress and attainment.
Pastoral and Whole School Support:
- Collaborate with the Head of Character Development and Wellbeing.
- Deliver high-quality pastoral care to students.
- Support the faculty and whole school development priorities.
- Undertake supervision duties as per the school rota.
- Engage with continuous professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in teaching GCSE Maths and Business.
- Strong leadership skills to oversee the Business department.
- Commitment to raising standards of student achievement and attainment.
- Ability to contribute positively to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
