Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a love of literature, language, and communication skills through interactive teaching methods.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students.
- Participate in School-wide events, including extracurricular activities and parent-Teacher conferences.
- Contribute to the development of the English department and wider School initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary School level including Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for inspiring students and nurturing their academic and personal growth.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
