Finance Office AdministratorColwyn Bay£11.50 per hourFull Time ContractNovax Recuitment is actively seeking a Finance Officer based in Colwyn Bay. This is a contract role working full time hours.
The job:
- To be responsible for the processes involved with service expenditure and some departmental income
- To be responsible for the maintenance both manual and computerised record systems in-line with audit requirements such as authorised signatories list etc.
- To support budget holders with the required financial monitoring reports, providing analysis where required.
- To process, input and extract data held on the finance sections recording and interface systems to include preparation of journals as required.
- To work with the Senior Finance Officer to provide support the Service Management Team and Budget Holders on financial matters including budgets, technical issues and management reporting.
- To be responsible for financial services within the Social Services business units.
The candidate:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting systems
- Experience of working in a finance environment in a social care/education/public sector environment desired
