- Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4:30pm, 36hrs per week
- Salary: £12.50 - £15 p/h, Dependant upon experience
Proactive Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder & Fitter for our client based in Cheshire, who are a leading manufacturer of industrial mixers.
You will be tasked with the production of bespoke industrial mixers and blender machinery, working in their manufacturing workshop. You will be working alongside and become part of a team of skilled fabricators, welders & fitters to complete various bespoke & high quality industrial equipment.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake work as instructed by the production and works supervisor, in accordance with the Company’s activities and incumbent’s skill profile I.E. Fabrication, Welding, Fitting, Store’s duties, Painting and Yard work.
- To undertake said work in a manner that adheres to company health & Safety procedures.
- To undertake said work in a manner that maintains the company’s policy on quality and to adopt the required practises to enable the company to develop its quality system.
- To ensure as far as is practical that all work carried out is completed on time and to the quality standard outlined by the company.
- To complete the necessary daily administration, (Clocking in / out, Time-sheet, consumable requests etc), relative to work in progress or completed.
- To make sure that all working stations are maintained, in a clean & tidy condition.
What you will need to succeed!
- Experience in TIG, MIG & MMA welding is - Minimum of 1 year is essential.
- Experience in fabrication and working from detailed engineering schematics - Minimum of 1 year is essential.
- You will need to have worked with the following tools/machinery to a high standard: sawing, drilling, punching, guillotining, and folding - Minimum of 1 year is essential.
- experience in fitting/assembly work - Minimum of 1 year is essential.
