Job Title: Social Worker - Children's Safeguarding Team - North WalesLocation: North Wales.Pay Rate: £ 38.43/per hour.Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our client in North Wales. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Social Worker to become part of the long-term Children's Safeguarding team. We are looking for a dedicated professional who has a genuine passion for working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in identifying and managing child protection concerns, as well as addressing ongoing issues. This role requires a deep commitment to safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being. If you are an experienced Social Worker with a strong background in child protection and a desire to make a positive impact.Role Overview This challenging and rewarding role involves working with complex cases, including:

  • High-end Children in Need (CIN) and child protection cases.
  • Managing cases that may progress to care proceedings, requiring a solid understanding of Court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing measurable, timely interventions in Child Protection/CIN plans.
  • Identifying when further intervention is required to protect children within your caseload and taking appropriate action.
  • Championing practice improvement, actively participating in process, procedure, policy, and strategy development.
  • Managing and assessing risk, leveraging technical authority and deep expertise in social care practice.
  • Supporting and mentoring others while maintaining credibility and hands-on experience in complex cases.

Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate will:

  • Be registered with Social Work Wales.
  • Possess significant experience in progressing Child Protection and CIN plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in assessing and managing risk in complex cases.
  • Be organized, resilient, and adept at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on the best outcomes for children.
  • Ideally, be a driver with access to a car and eligible to reside and work in the UK.
