Due to the growth of the practice, there is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, close-knit team. They offer both full-time (up to 40 hours per week) and part-time positions, with a rota that includes 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Out-of-hours services are handled by Vets Now.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team consisting of 3 Vets, 3 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, 2 VCAs, 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. The practice is accredited by the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme for Small Animal General Practice. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting caseload, contributing to the high standards of care and service provided to a loyal client base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality surgical and medical care.
- Occasionally work sole charge.
- Work up cases to a high standard.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in the best interests of patients.
- Participate in a set rota, including 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
Requirements:
- Veterinary degree and relevant qualifications.
- Good surgical and medical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about providing excellent service.
- Strong communication skills.
