Job Description: As a Transport Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our client's transportation services.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating vehicle scheduling and dispatch activities.
- Monitoring and tracking vehicle movements to ensure timely deliveries.
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver activities.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to transportation operations.
Requirements: We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a transport clerk or similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software or related tools.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
