They are seeking a dedicated Transport Planner to join our their transport planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the transportation of goods in an efficient and cost-effective manner within a busy distribution operation.
Description
The Transport Planner duties and responsibilities are:
- Develop effective transport schedules and routes for deliveries
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and transport companies
- Ensure compliance with transport laws and regulations
- Monitor transport costs and efficiency
- Respond to any issues or complaints
- Manage logistics of transport resources
- Implement health and safety procedures
- Maintain records of transport activities
Profile
A successful Transport Planner should have:
