Based near Croydon, this established and growing business has a 5-star reputation and is seeking to add another Skilled Service Engineer to their incredible team. The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis. 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

A very rewarding and varied opportunity is available for the right person who enjoys working onhigh-profile and varied sites. An eclectic mix of sophisticated commercial environments to bespoke residential settings.

About the role

As a skilled Service Engineer, you will engage in diverse and challenging fault finding and servicing requiring an analytical mind, a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving. You'll have the opportunity to control your own diary and work on high-profile sites, and be involved in:

  • Comprehensive maintenance of security, fire, and audio-visual systems
  • Troubleshooting complex issues and delivering effective solutions
  • Performing regular service checks and system optimisations to ensure peak performance

What do you need?

  • Proven field experience in service engineering, ideally with a focus on Security and Fire Safety Systems
  • Ability to carry out servicing and maintenance to industry standards, NSI/ SSAIB and BAFE
  • Ability to carry out fault findings on systems
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals
  • Full UK Driving License - company van included
  • Health and safety training records, ECS / CSCS
  • NVQ Apprenticeship or equivalent industry certification
  • FIA or equivalent qualifications
  • Relevant UK work experience and residency as you MUST be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
  • Be willing to adopt a 1 in 4 standby callout rota (additional £150/week)
