We are recruiting for a well established engineering company that specialise in automotive industry specialsing in high gauage products.
The Job Role
- Assembling waste handling machinery for mounting to commercial vehicles.
- Assembling and fitting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems to vehicles
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Organising and check kits of parts before proceeding to weld
- Tacking components together in jigs
- Record production information on booking system
- Working with mild steel.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Experience/Requirements
- 3+ years of fitting expererince (2-12mm thick)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Heavy plant experience would be advantageous
- Work to high standard keeping within deadlines
- To be able to work as part of a team
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Fault finding and rectification work would be advantageous
- Experience in body building/coach building environments would be advantageous
- Coded to BS 9606-1 would be advantageous
The Package
- Starting of �12 - �15.50 per hour
- Monday - Thursday 06:30am to 4:45pm
- Permanent position
- Mon-Thu 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-12pm. 39 hours total.
