Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy is proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Coventry to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate and compliant financial records.

Main duties:

  • Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Manage GRNI and Query Logs to support accurate month-end reporting.
  • Supplier statements reconciliations.
  • Query resolution.
  • VAT returns.
  • Reconcile control accounts including sales ledger, invoice finance, and multiple bank accounts (including foreign currencies).
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Support management requests and attend staff meetings as required.
  • Work flexibly to meet business needs.
  • Participate in job-related training and development.
  • Promote waste reduction and environmental responsibility
  • Working knowledge of SAGE would be advantageous.

This role is full time, permanent and office based.
