Office Administration Assistant

Job Purpose

We are looking to hire enthusiastic and proactive Office Administrators for our rapidly growing site in Coventry. You will play an important part in the smooth running of the office and supporting colleagues as required events, diary management, travel and logistics as well as be a central point of contract around the office. These roles pose an exciting opportunity to work for one of the UK’s most exciting projects in the evolving Battery and Technology sector.

Agratas is a global battery scale up/start up business within the Tata Group. We have entered our industrialisation phase, building world-class gigafactories in India and the UK, and unlocking green growth opportunities for global customers in the mobility and energy sectors. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable battery solutions for multiple applications to match our customers’ requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diary management and administration supporting internal and external visitors, travel and events and be the key point of contact for our colleagues visiting from India
  • Support the coordination of offsites/away days as well as our communications team with internal and external dignitary visitors
  • Support with the maintenance of a good office environment, maintaining relationships with our building management/cleaners and ensuring stationary stock is maintained appropriately
  • Be a key point of contact for new starter onboarding, requesting access cards and car parking as well as meeting new staff on day 1 as required
  • Liaise with stakeholders to book travel, transport and hotels internally
  • Pick up any appropriate ad-hoc responsibilities and projects as required

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

  • Experience as an office coordinator / executive assistant / administrator or similar position.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills coupled with first rate written and spoken communication
  • Computer skills to include Excel, Word and Powerpoint etc.
  • A motivated, proactive and resilient personality able to work well in a team
  • Confident when interacting with external customers, internal stakeholders and senior management.

Desirable

  • Experience in a start-up/scale-up/fast growth office environment.
  • Experience and/or an interest in manufacturing/battery sector.
