This is what you'll be doing:

  • Identify and pursue revenue opportunities to drive business growth and ensure consistent year-on-year increases.
  • Achieve and surpass sales performance targets.
  • Focus 90% of efforts on acquiring new business and 10% on managing and developing existing accounts.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, with support from internal sales and technical teams.
  • Present technical concepts, solutions, and processes to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, surcharge agreements, long-term agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal sales, regional sales, and operational teams.
  • Provide specific market sector information and insights relevant to the company and its customers.
  • Submit all required monthly reports to the UK Sales Manager promptly.
  • Primarily travel within the UK, with occasional travel abroad as needed.
  • Work flexible hours to meet workload demands.

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager.
  • Skilled in developing opportunities and selling within the Aerospace, Defence, and Energy sectors.
  • Track record of identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in target market sectors.
  • Proficient in negotiating and closing new business deals.
