Maintenance Shift Electrician- Temp to Perm

Contract Type:           Temp to Perm

Location:                    Coventry

Salary:                       £41-50,000/annum, dependant on experience (Equivalent hourly rate on the temporary basis)

Shifts:                         4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Electrician to work in the Coventry area responsible for both planned and reactive Electrical maintenance.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • The installation and maintenance of all electrical installations, plant and equipment and have the ability to work from technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, with a view to interpret the information for further development and resolution.
  • The ability to assist with in emergency tasks such as Lighting, Emergency lighting, fire alarms, heating failures, blocked drains
  • The testing of all electrical installations, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting and associated plant and equipment. In association with this to modify ‘as fitted’ drawings with respect to circuit references and modifications.
  • Undertaking planned preventive maintenance routines throughout the site
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • City & Guilds in either Electrical and/or Mechanical Services Level 3 or NVQ Level
  • 18th Edition
  • Previous experience in a multi skilled maintenance position with a core skill in either Electrical or Mechanical Services
