The Company recruiting for the Electronics Design Engineer:
- A market leader in home safety systems
- Renowned for their battery and mains powered devices.
- Growing and expanding in Coventry and further afield
- Seeking an experienced electronics design engineer
The Role of the Electronics Design Engineer:
- Carry out documentation, schematic and PCB designs.
- Compiling BoM's and liaise with hardware development team.
- Ensure designs adhere to ISO9001 and are verified and validated.
- Involved with new system design as well as legacy product improvements.
- Lead personal projects; typically working on 1 project at a time.
- Support the wider team.
- Mon - Fri role, 4 days in the office, 1 from home.
The Candidate for the Electronics Design Engineer:
- Experienced with LV and low power design, both mains and battery powered.
- Board level hardware design, including analogue circuits and microcontrollers.
- Analogue and digital electronics design experience, such as PCB, schematic capture, and simulation
- Working knowledge of C / C++ / Python is advantageous, as is experience with EMI / EMC / Radio testing.
- Experience of NPD is highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Strong English communication skills
- Access to the Coventry site, 4 days per week
The Package for the Electronics Design Engineer:
- £35,000 - £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Company performance related bonus
- 4 days in the office, 1 from home
