Do you want to work for one of the most iconic and exciting British Motorcycling brands, driving engineering excellence across their range of products? Jonathan Lee is working with a niche manufacturer of EV Motorcycles seeking a Build Technician / Engineer to support the prototype build, test and launch of their new product range.

As a Build Technician / Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in stripping down, assembling, building, and testing of prototype parts and systems for new vehicle programmes. Responsibilities will include:

• The test and development of prototypes and subassemblies; ensuring that all the deadlines from the engineering department are met. This includes all engineering needs for vehicle builds, testing and validation.
• Strip down and repair motorcycles both onsite and at dealerships to ensure prototype parts are functional and fit for purpose, while service requirements and agreements are delivered against.
• Support the current build team in the development of the new EV range, being bale to fault find and repair motorcycles using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Document, track, and communicate build issues to ensure timely resolutions.  This will include root cause analysis for prototype build problems.
• Be responsible for maintaining proper documentation aligned to prototype release and the servicing of motorcycles.         

As a Build Technician / Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of strip down and build of relevant two-wheeler and ideally EV systems within the automotive field covering either mechanical and/or electrical systems
• Demonstrable knowledge of motorcycles and their functioning with strong problem solving & testing capabilities.
• Knowledge of running Dyno testing for new and current motorcycles would be advantageous
