Job Title: Asset Rate Costing Manager

Location: Coventry / Slough

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30am - 17.00pm.

You will be working from home with the likelihood of visiting on site either once or twice per week. You will be required to visit either the site in Coventry or Slough subject to meetings. Flexibility to visit each site is required.

Salary: Up to £50,000

Are you an experienced Asset Rate Costing Manager looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leading organisation in the Motor Finance industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As the Asset Rate Costing Manager, you will have a crucial role in the collation and analysis of RV data to forecast future residual values. You will work closely with internal teams and data providers to ensure accurate and informed forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse RV data and trends to provide sound recommendations for future residual value forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with UK data providers for data collation
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders
  • Be the subject matter expert and attend RV committees to substantiate data presented
  • Work with the Finance Director to monitor financial results and adjust practises if necessary
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to assess the Total Cost of Ownership proposition
  • Review sales performance of end of contract return vehicles to determine future RV setting policies
  • Manage the Asset Rate Costing Executive

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Residual Value forecasting, tools, and industry practise
  • Knowledge of the Motor/Motor Finance industry
  • Familiarity with Contract Hire and Leasing industry desirable
  • Strong data analysis and interpretive skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
