Gleeson Finance are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to provide end to end ownership of company-wide cost transformation projects. The aim of this role is to ensure that identified opportunities are deliverable, sustainable and desirable. You will be presenting analysis, creating operational and financial benefits for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary finance partner for the capital delivery and projects division, providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop project budgets, financial forecasts, and business cases.
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Monitor project costs, variances, and risks, and provide proactive recommendations to optimise financial performance.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and project performance dashboards for management review.
  • Participate in project steering committees and provide financial expertise and guidance during project meetings.
  • Conduct post-project financial reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Proven experience in a transformation or commercial role.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysing costs and financial modelling, ideally for large-scale capital projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to challenge processes and practices and deliver change with customers and other key stakeholders.
