Trinity House Group are working on an exclusive basis to recruit a commercially minded Senior FP&A Manager for a newly created role with a large organisation in Warwickshire.

Reporting directly to a highly experienced Head of Commercial Finance you will lead and mentor a team of Management Accountants, lead the Budgeting & Forecasting and 5 year plan process, oversee month-end reporting and overall reporting of financial performance. You will work closely with the Finance Business Partners and engage with all levels including the Exec Board and other members of the Senior Leadership Team.

We’re looking for an ambitious individual with strong budgeting & forecasting skills who understands the key sales and profitability drivers. You will be able to challenge current practice and processes with an eye on continuous improvement and will need a track record of delivering to deadlines and providing high quality insight and analysis.

Senior FP&A Manager Responsibilities:

  • Central oversight and coordination of financial reporting and forecasts
  • Lead budgeting, 5-year plans and strategic activity planning
  • Track performance of activity plan including co-ordination and challenge of PIR’s
  • Monitoring of overall financial health, key ratios and metrics
  • Early warning and 'so what’ of current performance to drive action
  • Coordination of the period end process, and leading the reporting for period end including key commentary and production of performance reports for Executive; Board and external stakeholders
  • Lead the period end flash meeting and communication of period-end performance with the key stakeholders
  • Lead a team of Management Accountants and Assistant Accountants - and responsible for performance management and development of the team

Senior FP&A Manager Skills:

  • Professionally qualified - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Experience of budgeting; forecasting and planning in large, complex organisations
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen and able to develop an excellent understanding of the key drivers of the business interests
  • Confident operating, influencing and challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Experience of leading and developing a high performing team
  • Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with complex information and present in a clear format
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
