Twenty4Seven Education is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Geography Teacher to join one of our schools in Coventry. As a Geography Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the wonders of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative geography lessons that cover a wide range of topics, including physical geography, human geography, and environmental studies.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to explore and understand geographical concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance students' learning experiences and foster their curiosity about the world.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, providing support and challenge as needed to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
- Incorporate real-world examples, case studies, and fieldwork opportunities to bring geography to life and connect theory to practice.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections, interdisciplinary projects, and extracurricular activities that promote a holistic understanding of geography.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Geography Education.
- Passion for teaching geography and fostering a love for exploration and discovery.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of geography curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
