  • Experience Required:
    • Good general level of education
    • Training in Domestic Violence and Abuse, Honor Based Abuse, Forced Marriage, and No Recourse To Public Funds
    • Willingness to commit to additional training if necessary

My Client is looking for a Outreach Support Worker . The role is

  •   To identify and develop support strategies to meet the needs of women and children affected by domestic abuse in all forms, seeking support across our services.
  •  To develop policies and practice guidelines appropriate to the project in accordance with my Clients policies and procedures.
  • To keep up to date with current legislative changes. • To identify and make links with existing projects and community services and to develop joint services where appropriate.
  • To develop monitoring and evaluation procedures.
  • To keep abreast of issues regarding domestic abuse on a national and local level.
  • To identify opportunities to improve access to service and provide drop-ins and surgeries where women are in the community.
  • To support CHWA provision of workshops, group work and training for professionals, community groups and individuals to help them understand the impact of DA and to improve identification and referrals into the service.
  •  To participate in multi-agency, work as agreed with your line manager.
  •  To work with a team of volunteers/ champions (recruited, trained and inducted by the manager) who will work with the community-based DA Practitioners to offer support to women and children affected by domestic violence.

Experience required :

Good general level of education. • Undertaken Domestic Violence and Abuse, Honor Based Abuse (HBA) & Forced Marriage (FM) No Recourse To Public Funds (NRPF). • Training will be provided, and post-holder must demonstrate a willingness to commit to this training if this has not been achieved
