Position Details:
- Role: Social Worker (Permanent)
- Location: South Wales
- Team: Children and Young People Services (Intake Team)
- Employment Status: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns.
- Collaborating with families, schools, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Providing support and guidance to children and families in crisis.
- Liaising with external agencies and participating in multi-disciplinary meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work and Social Work Wales registration.
- Experience working within children and families services, preferably within an intake or child protection setting.
- Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases sensitively.
