Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns.
  • Collaborating with families, schools, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Providing support and guidance to children and families in crisis.
  • Liaising with external agencies and participating in multi-disciplinary meetings.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work and Social Work Wales registration.
  • Experience working within children and families services, preferably within an intake or child protection setting.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases sensitively.
