The Goudhurst Inn is located near Balfour Winery in the charming village of Goudhurst, The Goudhurst Inn offers four boutique suites, locally-sourced cuisine, and a spacious dining room. Our large outdoor terrace provides breathtaking views of the Weald of Kent. If you have a flair for hospitality, we'd love to welcome you to lead our team.

We're looking for our general managers to:

  • Hire and keep the best people
  • Coach, develop and mentor their team to success
  • Drive standards and knowledge to create exceptional guest experiences
  • Deliver on your forecasts and budgets
  • Maximise revenue by driving volume
  • Deliver on the pub's controllables

In this role we need someone with:

  • Previous experience at management level in a premium hospitality business
  • Excellent food & drink knowledge
  • Good understanding of the importance of financial targets and how we can achieve them
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing plans
  • Competent and organised in handling bedroom and function enquiries and bookings
  • A driving license and vehicle is essential for this role
