My client is looking for a proactive and organised Marketing & Events Assistant to support our Marketing & Ecommerce Manager and the wider Marketing Team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about marketing and events, and is looking to develop their skills in a hands-on environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, from trade show preparations to product development support, and will play a key role in the success of our marketing initiatives.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Merchandise the company entrance, hallways and showroom.
  • Assist with trade show preparations and attend events as required.
  • Collaborate with various departments to plan and execute customer training days, internal events, and meetings.
  • Organise and execute internal tasting sessions, including note circulation and follow-ups.
  • Monitor POS stocks, arrange for POS packs to be sent to customers, and manage POS updates and distribution.
  • Log new product samples, distribute internally, and track locations.
  • Update and circulate demonstration guides for key product lines and support internal product training.
  • Suggest awards for the company to enter, complete award entries, and communicate results to key managers.
  • Proofread marketing collateral and instruction books.
  • Conduct recipe research, drafting, testing, and uploading.
  • Coordinate responses to online reviews and raise purchase orders for marketing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational ability with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient copywriting and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Availability to travel to shows and events when required.
  • No previous marketing experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Marketing degree/qualification or experience is a bonus, but not mandatory.
